Default Wheel Help

Alright. If you've read any of my other threads, you know I'm working on a 1:12th scale Camaro. I am in the process of making the wheels right now. My question is this. About how thick are the wheel centers? I'm thinking they should be about 3-4 inches. or is that too thick? I'm making wheels similar to those on the 'Cuda in the most recent PHR

Are you talking about the hub area and brake spacing?

hmm....you bring up an area that I over looked. If you could break the wheel up into parts you would have the outer ring, the center (design portion) and then the hub mount. Focusing attention on the center and where the wheel mounts to the hub. you would essentially have a large flat disk With a much smaller, yet thicker center disk where the wheel would bolt to the hub. correct?

oh, my original question pertains to the wheel center. If we take the same 3 part design, part number two, the decorative wheel center and its approximate thickness, and then I guess the approximate thickness at the center where it would bolt to the hub

one more question. What is the lug spacing, and what is the correct way to measure it?
