I've been watching this company and it's cars since I was a kid and every chance I get i learn something new about them.

DriveTV did a great piece on them a while back. Truly an amazing piece of engineering in even the slightest detail. A car built by nerds who happen to be both craftsman, engineers, and perfectionists.

Swedish supercar. Full carbon body and crash proof monocoque. They make their own engines, blocks and all. Speed is limited to 375km/h (235mph). It will do 275mph. The owner/builder Mr Von Koenigsegg has only one
enemy: compromise.

Tryed to chance my friend mind to buy one but he saved his money and bought a Ford GT. Not bad car either.

From what I understand though their new motors are completely their own design. I'm waiting for their next motor which is supposed to eliminate the cam shafts and use a form of valve train technology seen in F1 using pneumatic actuators.
