Default Chemical-Stripping over Media-Blasting?

Does anyone know if a reputable company that can chemical strip and e-coat an entire car body? Specifically a 69 camaro. I am told that Carponents is no longer doing entire body stripping.

Any suggestions?

Contact:

International Paint Stripping
15300 Oakwood Drive
Romulus, MI 48174
734-942-0500

They can strip and e-coat body shells within the measurements of 13.6 feet in length and 48 inches in height. Cost: $2500

The price has really gone up. When I had mine done it was $1800. That was about 3 years ago.

Hope it helps.

That price also includes e-coating.

Default e-coat

That is great guys. Thanks for the reference. That will be about an 11-hour drive (from Memphis) for me but it will be well worth it. If anyone else has a reputable company to recommend...please do so. It will be a few months from now so I have a little time.

Trapin...your e-coat looks great. I checked it out on your site. I'm sold!! It looked fresh from the factory and soooooo clean.

tndude,

Since you're in Memphis, you might also look into Metal Finishing Services here in Jackson, MS. 2.5 hours is a lot better than 11!!

Metal Finishing Services

I've been to their shop a couple of times and have seen their work. Everything looks very nice. The ecoating is actually done by another shop a few miles north of town, but MFS will handle everything for you. I and several others on Pro-Touring were all quoted $1800 for both. I'm here in Jackson if I can be of any help.

I hope this helps.

Chris
