Default ...haven't given up yet...

It's been a while since I posted an update, and there really hasn't been much visible progress since the "stance" pics a few weeks ago. It still looks about the same as this.

I've got 10 days until the wedding, and a lot of work left to do.

Cooling system; using caprice radiator, waiting for some parts, shouldn't take too much effort

Exhaust; If it's running for the wedding, it may have open-headers

Wiring; a couple relays for the electric fans, and a bunch of various little stuff, but most of it is done.

Interior; will install the steering column tonight, the rest is in and done. Won't have a working Speedo, but who needs that?

Body; putting on the fenders, hood, bumpers, grille, etc... gotta finish a few things under the hood first.

Power Steering; need to figure out how to run the hoses out of the way of the tie-rod, and figure out how/where to mount the reservoir.

Driveshaft; gotta shorten the existing one... no money for a new aluminum one.

Alignment; Probably going to leave that to a professional... might set the toe and go with it just for the wedding day though.

I've got a ton of little stuff to do yet, but Jenna finished school this week, so she can help in the shop now when I need an extra pair of hands.

Everyone else has already started on "Plan B" which is to drive the Model T instead of the Chevelle, which will be cool too, but I really wanted to do a burnout.

I've been wondering how you've been doing on your thrash. It always seems there isn't enough time in the day and you have a big deadline. Good luck, hope you make it!

Thanks Scott! The biggest setback was when a co-worker quit, so I now have to do both his and my work. I can't make much progress when I'm at work putting in O/T.

I gotta thank Keith Anderson for coming down to help with the wiring It's nice to have someone who knows something about fuel-injection, and wiring in general to help out.

Derek,

Best of luck! I was able to get a burnout in at my wedding and, although it wasn't smokey, it was a great memory. I'll see what I can do about getting the video of it up soon - maybe it'll help motivate you
