Default Met Todd Kluever! *NASCAR Warning*

So i get a call two nights ago from my mother in law... she says that for one day only, Todd Kluever will be at her place of business (3M) and will be signing autographs and what not. I have to go through all the 3M security (which is a big deal). My mother-in-law bought me a 1:24th diecast and had it signed (supposed to be an early birthday present).

I figure, sure this should be fun he is after all an AMA champion, Craftsmen Truck series rookie of the year and a rookie this year in BUSCH.

Todd was a pretty nice guy, all of 25-27 years old that i could tell. I got a picture of his BUSCH car, me and him together. As i looked at the pics, i realized... holy hell, i'm 8" taller than this guy! LOL

So later we browsed the 3M store, where only 3M employees can shop. Bought a bottle of hand glaze, aluminum polish and a bottle of spray adhesive #80 for all of $14.63. The glaze alone goes for flipping $14.99 at NAPA! Sheesh.

So, it has been a good day so far

I'll post pics tonight when i get home.

Not being curtious to Todd, not saying thank you, demanding all sorts of stuff... like 50 signed cards... he just had this way about him that demanded everything without a simple 'thank you'... it just really irked me.

I tried my best to be polite, i asked nicely if it would be ok to get a picture with him, i said thank you for signing the diecast, when honestly he didnt have to. Todd was being very nice to everyone, which to me made that guys behavior just look that much worse.

LOL nope, only my mother in law can and they dont allow camera's darn near anywhere on the 3M campus LOL. she helped develope "NEXTEL" fiber... which NASCAR uses on the headers and exhaust as a heat barrier.. the stuff is really amazing, its thin as a t-shirt and can withstand 3000* of heat.

Moroso picked up NEXTEL fiber and sells them as spark plug boot protectors. Check out their catalog and you'll see "NEXTEL" in the description. The other stuff is just cheap knock offs that dont work all that well.
