Default USCA Events -Are These Spectator Friendly?

I've been watching the show on MAV, and my son asked if we could attend one of the events. I told him I would look into it.

My first choice would be the Las Vegas event, as it is closest (10 hour drive), and there would be other things to do as well, for my wife and girls.

How "spectator friendly" is this event? Is it a watch from the stands event, or is it all walking around? Etc, etc....

My son's 12 years old, so he should be able to handle a full day at the track. Due to school, we would only likely be able to attend the Sunday events.

Just trying to gather info before I make a 10 hour drive!

Thank you!

Just do it. You'll love it. They sell tickets for just this purpose.

This is the first year at LVMS, so the set up is unknown to me. There is seating if they use the infield road course configuration on Sunday (?), but be ready for lots of walking throughout the pits.

I went to the Gateway event, and it certainly was. We could see the whole track from the stands. Both the road course, and the autocross/ss challenge.

in years past Las Vegas has been the most spectator friendly...we will be at a new venue this year, but I'm sure Optima and the speedway will put on a great show, every event so far has been set up with spectators in mind, the only event that wasn't was Michigan and it was because of the track layout built by Michigan is designed for grandstand viewing so there infield was narrow and had limited areas to view the segments....come on out cheer us on

Do it! I haven't taken my boys mainly because I'm "working" but to be able to see the cars up close and talk with the folks in the pits is awesome. Both Monteray and Portland had great areas to either sit in grandstands or lean on a fence. Bring a back pack with fluids/snacks and a camera and you won't be sorry.

Awesome! Thank you all for the input....I'm convinced! Now I just need to convince my better half that it's a good use of our funds//time! She loves Vegas, so it shouldn't be too hard.

Thanks again!
