The hardest part is installing it. The panel from anvil is completely flat on the back.

Ah, that explains the screws below the AC controls. My repo panel is also flat, but it's pot metal, so can be bent slightly into shape.

That is a shame that you had to use screws through the face of a great looking panel like that!
You would think that for the money you spent on it, it would have a proper way of mounting it and the necessary hardware
That is the main reason I stuck with my stock panel and modified it to work for my application
