Default Another 67 Chevelle

Hey all,
I was originally doing a turbo LS1 motor for my 80 Malibu and was going to wait until next year to start on the 67 Chevelle until next year...but I can't wait no more. I'm either selling the Malibu or just let it sit a while then dump a 454 in it to play with.
Current project is a 67 SS396 Chevelle I bought from SC with no motor or trans. It still has the 4 speed console, pedals, factory 4:10 posi 12 bolt, disc brakes and a few others with very minor bodywork ever done to it. The body is going to media blasting withing the next week or 2, then the frame. I will be putting the turbo LS1 motor in it along with a T56 6 speed. Should be 650-700 rwhp when all is said and done. Motor is at the shop now getting a few things done to it. Hopefully I can be driving next spring. It all depends on cash flow from my second job. I'm active duty Air Force so we don't make a ton of cash.
If any other early Chevelle guys have any tips I will take them. I take tech tips as well as cash

Bryan

Here are a few that were taken just before I bought it. I started stripping it with ome nasty gel paint remover to check for bondo and am pretty surprised as the lack of rust. I'm use to midwest cars being full of rust. This came from SC. We'll see what it really looks like after the media blasting
