Default New Project

Here's a pic of our new project we picked up at MSD in El Paso TX Sunday.
We're calling it "Turbo 6.6" as that's what it's gonna be.
Not sure exactly what the exterior scheme is gonna be, Ben did a rough draft for me, and Murray's doing one as well.

Jeff-

I'm curious as to what happened with the wagon project? I'm sure this TA will be a killer!

I am guessing it is not finished yet. 1970 Cuda is the owner, I believe.

Yea, it'll be fairly high level. We'll use it to tool up our 2nd gen F body full chassis and install one of our 6.6 liter turbo LS2 engines. Exterior body will be fairly stock looking, complete with bird on the hood. Firewall will be smoothed, fabricated inner fenders, mini tubbed, etc. 305-315's in front and 345's in the rear. It'll be a demonstrator of the products we're making/selling.
Unsure of the color (white, red or yellow?)
I'm dying to build something with all wheel drive.
Not sure how quickly it'll hit the road, really busy with customer stuff, chassis, LS7 engine packages, complete car projects.....
The wagon is moving forward.
Thanks,

I can hear Jeff's new mullet growing 15miles away. I can't wait to talk to him about this new car. I may be able to dig up a cool old Sparkomatic cassette player for his collection of classics. Good luck Jeff.

Default wagon

the wagon is going slowly because of me. i have had jeff back burner it a little until the my life settles down a little. a couple of different jobs after a 7 year job and a new baby has slowed it down this year. we are just gathering parts so that we can move forward. it will be fun to get down. expect jeff to be fine tuning (beating the hell out of it) next year some time.
