Default Greetings from Philippines (69 Camaro)

Greetings!

Been a member for quite awhile now. Learned a lot from you guys and I appreciate it a lot.

Couple of things about me before the project. I am a practicing architect. My very first car was a hand me down from my dad. It was a 70 Nova. I loved that car very much but my dad sold it from under me to buy another car. After that, my passion for cars grew but all the cars I modded were Japanese cars. From EVOs to Supras to Skylines. But then I always wanted to have an American musclecar.

Then came the opportunity to purchase a sweet 69 Camaro. Body is still pristine and was running good. But I always wanted to mod cars so the the Camaro is my new victim.

It is presently stripped down for the rotisserie, but I have ordered and planned for the following mods.

First is that I have contracted the services of Jason Rushforth for some design sketches.

Engine is from Nelson Racing. 427 aluminum small block with twin turbo. I had some pictures emailed by Tom to me and I must say the intake manifold alone is a work of art. I have no go signal from him to post any pictures yet, so I will wait for his decision.

Suspension, both front and rear subframes, brakes, etc. are from DSE.

Haven't ordered the rest of the stuff yet. But it should be soon.

Thanks for reading and I am glad to be part of this forum and to once again have some American metal in my garage.

Manuel

What a sweet list of parts going into that 69. I am sure it will be the best ride in the Phillippines when done.

Manual:

Sounds like a Killer Ride.

Be sure a post a lot of pictures so we can follow along with it. If you get a chance post the renderings as well.

Good Luck with everything.
