Default Another New Guy

New to Lateral-G.net and wanted to say hello to everyone. I found you all while searching for information on restoring a 1968 Camaro. From what I’ve read so far it looks like I’ve found a treasure chest of information in all of you. Restoring the car will be a first for me and it’s a project I’m very excited about. Right now I’m in the process of finding the right car to work with. Not looking for a numbers matching or rare car, just one with a decent body to start with. I look forward to the forums and hearing from all of you. I’ll be needing plenty of advice.

Curtis

Thanks guys. The SEMA party is one I'll be looking forward to big time! I'd be very interested in meeting anyone out here in Las Vegas. Even if there just in town for a few days of R and R. Feel free to drop me a line at any time.

Thanks Bill. If anyone has a good lead please let me know. Not sure if I should go with a car that’s up and running or start with one a project that has already been started. Anyone have any advice on that? I just don’t want to spend money on things that I won’t be using.

Ok...here are some pictures of one I am considering. The guy wants 24k for it and I would need to ship it to Vegas. The basics of his add are...New paint, quarter panels, GM 330 H.P. 350 crate motor (recent), transmission is a 350 turbo with a mild sift kit, 3:73 pos-trac diff. Great fit and finish, very straight, no rust.

Thanks Alex. I see you have a 67 Camaro PT-Project. How's that working out?
