To All:
I just received these pictures from Mark Magers, owner of Lateral Dynamics, (A Sponser of this Website) who has been busy getting this car ready to ship. (
www.Lateral-Dynamics.com)
In the first picture, the new upgraded Wilwood Master Cylinder is in as well as the Hydra-Boost unit. (These Items, as well as the Wilwood Brakes were bought through Frank at GS Superstores) The Wilwood Brakes are the 14 Inch Front w/ 6 Pot Red Calipers, 13 Inch Rear w/ 4 Pot w/ Red Calipers.
Since the wheels are currently 17 inch, the Wilwood front brakes will be installed when the 18 inch new wheels are bought later this year. In the mean Time, Front Braking will be Handled by the 6 Pot Alcon Monoblock Calipers that Mark had been using on this, "Mule", while developing his popular 3- link Suspension.
Photo's 2 and 3 Show the Recaro "Style Topline" Seats in Full Leather, that were ordered through Jim Huston at Motorsport Seats (
http://www.MotorSportSeats.com) Jim was great to work with and had VERY competitive pricing. The Seats are all power and include the "Heat" and "Vent" systems which cool or warm the seats in extreme temperatures.
The Next couple of pictures show the interior of the car with the new seats mounted.
The fourth photo shows the progress Mark is making on Upgrading the LD 3-Link Suspension. (Prototype pieces will come off in Exchange for Current Production pieces) the Ford 9 inch housing will work with a S-Series Strange Center Section, to house the Strange Engineering S-Series Induction Hardened 31 Spline Axles. These axles include access holes for the Parking Brake installation. A Strange Tru-trac Torsion Posi unit, and 3.90 gears will fill the Center Section.
The complete housing will be powder coated , and will be secured under the car by 3 Chrome Moly Link Tubes, which feature QA1 Forged Teflon Rod Ends, and machined spacer/adapters. A Watts link system will keep the housing centered under the car. Spax Double Adjustable Shocks will maintain Ride quality.
Last the final photo shows the axles and brakes being installed.
This is all for now.
