hard to say but, I would Say make it a bolt on mobile. not cut into it to much.

Put a nice subframe under it, big block, wheels,etc.
Things that you can easily undo.

Well lets face it it is a straight 6, anything you added (tastefully) would add value.
I agree bolt on would be the way to go. I would run a nice 17X7 or 8" wheel in the back and put a crate sbc maybe even leave the 'glide.

Chop it up. Its only a 6 cyl. You couldnt ask for a nicer car to work with. If it was an SS, Z28, Big block, I would say keep original.

It would be a good car to do in a style like Doug Coppers new/old 55...but without the full frame boogie.
