Default GG/Air Ride 2008 Street Machine of the Year

Howdy folks. It's that time of year again. Time to zero in on the world's most bitchin' Street Machines as they head to Columbus to compete for this year's crown.

I would like some help in assembling a preview of who plans on coming to Columbus this year. Here is what I'd like you to submit if you would please:
- A jpeg photo or rendering of your Street Machine
- Engine, transmission, chassis, dyno and tire/wheel info (keep it basic and brief)
- Body and paint information
- a List of any awards the car has won

I will compile this and post it to our website ASAP. Please send all information to me at: [email protected]

Here is the criteria for this year's award:
Goodguys/Air Ride Technologies Street Machine of the Year:
Presented at: 11th Goodguys PPG Nationals, July 11-13, Columbus, OH
Who’s Eligible: Street Machines 1954 through 1972 vintage.
How to Enter the Competition: All award candidates must park in the Pro’s Pick Area Friday and Saturday July 11th & 12th as well as participate in a three-lap Street Challenge Auto Cross Friday afternoon, July 11th (Autocross Hours 10am-2pm) at the Ohio Expo Center. Autocross lap times will not determine the overall winner but style points do count!
Criteria: This award is designed for a cutting edge Street Machine which combines masterful build quality with extreme performance. Quality of craftsmanship, body & paint, overall engineering, the three F’s (fit, form & functionality) stance and overall creativity in design and concept is what the selection committee will seek.

Thanks for your time!

I love it, they have to compete in the autocross.
They might get trailered there but they got to do the autocross.
I wonder who will show up and just drive the course at 5mph.

Trust me, if they don't finish construction on 71 at the fairground exit, there will be a lot of autocross driving. As of today, the three lanes going each way verge way to the right. So much so that the 2 right lanes go down the exit ramp and up the entrance ramp to get back onto the freeway. There is not exit there right now. Can you say "orange barrel" and "detour"?

why would you want to tell people you were coming? I think if you were going to enter and you were trying to win you would just show up.

No doubt...You guys coming in from out of town, bring a GPS or be prepared for a nice tour of Columbus, be advised to know all the routes into and out of the fairgrounds...This is one if not THE main entrance into the place....

We will be there at the show with our rig and two cars, one for the SMOTY 1969 Camaro "DRACO" but we have to get the car completed to get you finished shots. We will hopefully be shooting the car next week done. Cant wait to do the auto cross with it. Our car is built as a everyday driver so it will see the road all the time.
