Default Relocating the fill tube

Has anyone done this? Most gas pumps here in Cali have short hoses, making nearly impossible to get the Nova filled up. Anyone re routed theirs?

I was thinking a tank from a 67-68 Camaro might be one way of doing it.

So maybe a foot up is going to make a difference?

I thought you were wanting to put it on the side or something.

Relocating to side would work too. I would have to enlist some body work experts whichever way it goes.

I have a 66 Nova. I just relocated my filler neck into the trunk. I live in Cali also. I was tired of spilling gas down the side of the car everytime I filled up. The gas nozzel has that rubber seal which never sealed or worked on the OLD style regular larger filler neck.

Bought an Astro Van un leaded filler neck and mounted it to the inner fender in the trunk.
