Hogan's vs. Precision Metalcraft vs. ?

I am looking to fuel inject the L92 I am building for my Camaro and liked the looks of the Hogan's fabricated intake until I saw the one from Precision Metalcraft that Jody put on his Chevelle.

I am not doing forced induction, but NA. I would like to have one of each to dyno test, but realize that might be a tough thing to do without writing some large checks and selling the one I don't use. I just hate to make a $2000+ investment only to find out it does not work well.

So, if anyone has either laying around and would be willing to allow some dyno testing, contact me and we can work out details. I have had preliminary talks with Jeff Schwartz regarding dyno testing and came up with the comparison idea after we talked.

I smell a comparison article brewing if I can pull it off.

I have one sitting in the shop now and we are also curious to what it will do NA.

Let me know if you get one to try. This is our second one since UPS damaged the 1st . I would send it to you but with the damage on the 1st I am a little worried.

My guess is the PMC unit will make more low and mid-range torque due to the runners extended up into the plenum with a bell top making it an IR setup with a plenum over it. It would be a cool test though.

So the Hogan's runners stop at the plenum? I realize that it is a huge leap for someone to send me their $2000+ intakes, but I would hope that enough people here either know me or have dealt with me to know I am a straight up guy.

Jason, what part of PA are you in? My boss is from Pittsburgh and is in and out of there all the time. We'll see what happens.

I also have a local guy who might fab one for me to add a third to the test. Here is the one he made for his Ferrari.

VAN, I trust you its the shipping companies I dont. I am in chambersburg pa . It is about 2.5-3 hrs from Pittsburgh.

i have both . the hogan maid 1200hp on a 427ci sbc tt. the pmc is on a 427 ls7 motor
