Default Stockholm sightseeing pictures

Earlier this year i promised you some pictures from Stockholm with my car. The weather has been terrible this summer but now its really good again.

So here we go:

The Royal Palace in the background.

City Hall, in there they have the Nobel Price Dinner

The ship in the background is a newly built replica of a 250 year old East India trading ship. The original sank just out of the harbour coming back from its third voyage to China. Such a trip took about three years.
This replica will soon embark on a trip to China and back.
You can read more about it here: http://www.soic.se/

Old steamships taking people out to our archipelago (100.000 islands)

I will have more pics up on my homepage by tomorrow.

Jan

Jan, those pictures are just terrific, thank you for sharing them with us. I have been to Europe several times, I actually lived in Germany for two years, but never made it to Sweden. Those pictures make me want to go back over there again.

By the way, the car looks terrific, very well done.

Ah, Sweden, the land of beautiful women. My dad said back in the 70's he landed at an airport there and every woman in the place looked like they could have been a Playmate.
