Default First Gen Chevy II suspension

Well, I've been fighting and debating with front suspension on this old '62 clunker for a while. I've raced karts, and my DD is an '04 focus SVT, so I KNOW I need to build this car so it rails.....no straight lines for me. I've finally come to the decision that I want to go with C4 or C5 parts. A friend of mine owns a fab business, so he's onboard for building this thing with me.

Are there major differences between c4 and c5? I've found a c4 front end for pretty cheap and reasonably local, but theres always c5 stuff on ebay. Anything to look out for geometry-wise when fabbing the mounts for the a-arms? What kind of anti-dive angles are you guys running? I guess I could have a million questions, but we'll start with that....

I LOVE Novacanes car, that would be ideal, but my budget doesnt quite allow me to go to that extent.

Thanks

Rob

Thanks Rick, but part of the reason I want to go with corvette stuff is the price, like I said in my post I can pick up the parts for a decent price. Most of the bolt on clips out there are pretty expensive for me. Being a business owner myself, its against my "religion" to waste their time getting info out of them if I know I'm not going to buy their product.

So that brings me to why i'm here....looking for info!

happy holidays

Rob

Poopy (love the name),

Send me a PM - I've got a 67 ChevyII with the WD Clip, I think you'd love that on your car. I can give you all the low-down on it, costs, etc....

Yeah, well, I did.... before my laptop crashed a few weeks ago. I'll get some new ones tomorrow and post them.
