Default Congrats to Mark Stielow and Charley

Mark won the road course part of the Motorstate Challenge at Gingerman today in Jackass. Pretty amazing for a brand new car with no real track time to sort it out, full street tires also. Charley will be popping in I'm sure, but he said the car is just so easy and comfortable to drive fast , it's amazing. I think Charley had 9th fastest time, so he was hauling too.............. Can't wait to hear all the particulars.

There's still the Autocross tomorrow, but Stielow won the road course segment. And that with Jackass on regular Michelin PS2 street tires.

yes. Steve's car hauls the mail on an autocross. On the road course I think Mark went 1:36, Charley was 9th at 1:41, and I think Penny was in the 1:45 range. DSE held 2nd and 3rd best times in their two cars, but I didn't get the actual time.

jody, i had the third fastest time. 1:36.78 behind ryan at dse who ran 1:36.13 and of course mark, with a 1:34.58
was a great event, lots of fun and plenty of sun.
and plenty of off track excursions
jake
i think rupp ran 1:44 and david ran 1:39 or 1:40

Yep, but the car was brand new (since the last road course event) with new springs, sway bars and such.

The valving for the Bilsteins are off now, need some adjustables, also cooked the BP20 street pads since Pozzi and I were both beating on the car.

Penny had the fastest autocross time (with Pozzi) driving and I think I had the fourth fastest with myself driving.

David came in 3rd place overall for the event. If he would have matched his qualifying time in the finals he would have gotten 2nd, but that's the way the cookie crumbles in racing.

We know what we need to do to make her better and that's the most important part.

Oh, I got to drive JACKASS.. Holy crap! that car has INSANE brakes. The power is pretty crazy as well, first class ride!

Congrats to both Mark and Charlie... great job

Your car is fantastic Steve. You get big props for beating the snot out of it like you do at these events.
