Default All In

Here's the start of my next build, named "All in"

I came to the name as I evolved to my final Build Plan (at least as final as these things get...). Being an SS, I started with the idea that I might just leave it alone, put a V8 in it and set it up as just a nice solid street car. Then I started considering a Pro Street or Pro Touring build. Obviously, PT is where my heart is and so once I dropped a bunch of cash on a C5 drivetrain I decided I was prety much "All In."

Build Plan:
1963 Chevy Nova SS
Scott's Hotrod IFS
Full tube chassis from front clip back
2004 C5 Corvette drivetrain (Bellhousing, Torque tube, rear mounted T-56, and IRS)
LS2 - STS twin turbo setup?

As you can see from my starting point, I've got my work cut out for me. But afterall, the journey is the fun part!

Some of you might know me from other forums, but I look forward to getting to know you all!
James

Default Scott's Hotrod's IFS

Picked up my IFS from Scott's the other day, and I'm stoked. Literally, it is a metalic work of art... perfect TIG welds throughout. Can't wait to get going on the install

I went with the Power Rack, Sway-bar, and Wilwood 12" brake upgrade

Now there is some nice goodies! Have you started on the body/chassis fab yet? This should be a pretty cool car all done.

I'm out of town for a couple weeks, which is alright since it has given me some good time to kick around different strategies.

When I get back I'll start with some patch panel work. The lower cowls are the work of it, and since that is fairly structural I want to get that done before I take the floor out.

From there, on to chassis...
