Default 56 GMC update

Here is the latest progress I have made. Next is motor mounts and the frame. Any tips on boxing the frame and building an x member?

Thats gonna be a killer truck, the diesel is an awesome twist. I would think that the proper sized "C" channel would be best for boxing the chassis, and go to artmorrisons website and download thier catalog and look at the bottom of page#13 for an X member kit, looks like it would be easy to install and not a bad price either. keep us updated
