feelings about the steeroids rack kit

hello everyone.........I am thinking about picking up one of their steering kits and would like to get some feedback on its performance.anyone have on of their racks in a 69 camaro????? I need all the info I can get.

I have no personal experience with it but I continually hear about bump steer issues. A lot of guys have good things to say about the Unisteer setup, you may want to weigh those two and see what would be best for you.

I don´t have any personal experiance from Steeroids unit but we talked about the
Unisteer unit here https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=2727
and this unit seems to be the best solution, for me anyway
No bumpsteer(or close), easy and neat installation and 2,5
turns lock-to-lock.

I have one in my 69. It’s not on the road yet and I have had a few issues. One problem, which they corrected very quickly, was that the pressure hose was about 4" too short. One call and 4 days and I had a new one. The other problem I had was header clearance. I have a set of headers from Year One and they do not clear without some massaging of the #1 pipe. I would say it took over 1/4 of its dia. to clear the unit. It might be different with other headers? I do not know about bump steer although it does come with an assortment of spacers to adjust as you see fit

Will try to do a write up after some road testing, working 80 hours a week has put a dent in my progress.

From what I've seen, it actually hangs lower then the subframe. Not good at all IMO.
