Default 67 camaro mirror options with pics

I need a decision asap on this. Would you go with 2nd gen color matched mirrors, chrome 67 or chrome 68 mirrors ?

My drip rail chrome molding and my quarter wing window chrome molding will be painted black. Also i will not run a front bumper

My car

67 mirrors

68 mirrors

or second gen mirrors?

Gen 2 color-keyed. After years of deliberation I've decided they are the lessor of all evils.

personally I like the 68 mirrors over the 67,
I think they go with the lines of the car better.

Tough call though the second gen mirrors are nice as well.

Color coded mirrors

This is from Jamess113 camaro build. Here is what he used/said
"I got the mirrors form Ames Performance, they are 71-72 GTO sport mirrors. They fit perfect with out any mods to them. The only thing I had to do was install the base gasket upside down to get the mirror to fit right."

With you deleting the chrome on your car, then the choice on mirrors should be simple. 2nd gen is what would fit the theme of your car best.

First thanksw for the thread, I had never considered 68 mirrors before but now I am ...

Thant said... if your thinking color matching, take a look at Blue Balz. I believe he used 70 m ustang mirriors, you may like how they look.

my gut right now is the 68 mirriors
