Default Ultimate Street Car Association - 2014 rules

The 2014 rules for the Ultimate Street Car Association (USCA) are posted at http://ultimatestreetcarassociation.com/usca-rules/

Our rules are constructed to:

Emphasize safety, education and fun
Highlight real street cars
Encourage participation for all skill levels
Provide a consistent event format

We realize that the rules will not please everyone - in fact, they may not please a lot of people. We have utilized our co-founders extensive professional event knowledge and experience (over 50 years), along with that of our master level sponsors and others, both within and outside of the industry, to create a ruleset that focuses on safety, organization, real street cars, and a fun and inviting spirit of performance street car gatherings. Our goal is to provide world-class performance street car events to owners of all years, makes and models and of all skill levels from beginner to expert.

If you have questions regarding the 2014 rules, please email me, Jimi Day - Co-founder, at [email protected].

I like the separation classes, 2point penalty per cone

Just read thru the rules, I din't see anything that was unreasonable at all. Even though I'm not a big road course guy, the run group descriptions seem nicely split up.

I get the <3000 lb and >3000 classes, but am a little unclear on the "Professional driver" description. Are sponsor cars (not to pick on Kyle, he's a great guy) like DSE considered "professional"? Just a question.

Looking forward to hitting a few of the USCA events next year

I need to leave an explanation in regard to what happened to the other rules thread posted yesterday. Jimi had originally posted the rules changes under his FM3 Marketing username. He later decided he wanted the post made under another username he created for handling this event (USCA 1). Since he wanted to keep his new username separate from the old one he had to start a new thread.

I cannot move the replies from the older thread over to this new thread because the forum software merges them according to the time of day they were posted; the earliest one would be post #1, and so on. When I tried, that pushed the new post#1 above down to position #10 or so since it was posted several hours after the original thread started. At that point the thread made no sense at the beginning.

Hopefully I haven't confused you further. We had to start the entire thread over, it was not due to any postings or problems in the thread itself. Please feel free to ask your questions again, I promise they will not disappear.
