Is he having to rev. match the gearbox to complete clean shifts up or down?

Is this for a straight cut box?

That's a great video to watch as it goes though the motions. It's also very hard to explain to someone how to do it, and this video shows you.

Ty...He is doing it when he downshifts in order to raise RPM's but all the while he has the brakes on, keeping the suspension loaded where it is. If he had just downshifted without the throttle blip it would have unloaded the suspension. I'm sure others can explain it better.
