I'm sure that The General will figure out another way to kill us. Gosh I am hung on GM but it seems like General Motors is like your first girlfriend, you remember how lovely she was, go 10 to 12 years without seeing her and when you do, its when she's buying triple wide double stuffed(maybe with wings and/or landing gear)Tampons at WalMart, two hundred pounds overweight with her double wide husband and double wide kids.

Or something like that...

The new Mustang is gonna take over the world. It wouldn't surprise me if GM reconsidered their plans after seeing it.

Faced with fight or flight, GM is running as fast as it can.

My understanding is GM had revenue projections of 2 billion but in reality ended up paying Fiat 2 billion to get out of the purchase of Fiat and also had 2 billion in losses. That is 6 billion from where they thought they were gonna be. They are cutting back everywhere. The new Mustang had nothing to do with it. Hopefully they will rethink some of the quick cost cutting decisions they just made.

I did see where GM was projecting Losses in the area of 80% higher than previously projected.

Clill, at 6 billion in losses, maybe GM should buy Mustangs and have them rebadged as Chevelles, I'm sure they'd get a discount at 6 Bill. The Fiat purchase was a bad decision from the get-go.

An old guy told me that FIAT stands for "Fix It Again Tony". That should have been somewhat of a sign.
