Default about having car minitubbed?

you guys that have mini tubbs can yall still run the leafsprings if yall wanted to?

and so how much room do yall have

Yes you can use leafs,as far as room goes it depends on the car.

On my 69, with the DSE mini-tub kit, a 335 is as wide as I'd want to go with the leafs. The tires are close to the leaf springs, but there's plenty of room in the wheelhousings. A 345 would be no problem if you weren't running leaf springs.

But you have to have the offset shackles, right? And how about the gastank? It needs to be narrowed, right?

You've got it Jan, you'll need both of those items to gain the full benefit of mini-tubbing a first gen Camaro or 68 thru 74 Nova.
