Default newbie here..

Hey guys, let me start off by saying this site is great! Haha..
I'm obviously a new guy here, But Im not new to muscle cars! I have a 70 Chevelle that im building at the moment. It started out that i wanted a pro street car but the whole protouring scene really caught my eye.. after a little suspension work and a 6 speed i think itll be right on track.(pun intended) haha.. its just a little 355 setup with some pro action heads and a nice solid lift cam. It now has a serpentine setup and electric fans and stuff.. i went ahead and did it the right way painting the frame and firewall and put a new harness in it. I also have a 69 camaro for my daily driver. The car was intended for my girl friend for her 16th birthday, but a wheel cylinder went out and the car pulled when you hit the brakes so "daddy" bought her a new car. after watching the camaro sit and wrot for 5 years and seeing rust bubbles appear and the dash starting to swell i had to save it..haha.. i picked the car up and did minor mechanical work to get her running and im slowly "restoring" it i guess you could say.. my next project with it is to do a 700r4 swap.. i drive about 100 miles a day so gas is killing me.. im an adrenaline junky and i have a boat project going on too.. its a 23ft skater with two 300's.. otherwise im a painter/ restorer by trade.. i work at the local ford house and do side jobs. I used to be incharge of an autobody program at the local college but i realy enjoy the hands on aspect of my trade. I Know there are probably alot of do it yourselfers on here so if you guys ever need any paint and body advice dont hesitate to ask! well thats enough rambling.. once agian i really enjoy Lateral-G.net and I look forward to stickin around..
