so who all carries an "emergency" tool box in there car and what does it consist of? i got a whole shoe box full of tools ive gathered from the shop here and there due to tinkering and was wondering how i should narrow it down..
1 Hammer. I Yankee socket set (cresent wrench), Screw driver with switch out tip. Gas can. 2 MRE's and water, box of honey Buns (not the sweet kind-the feminine type) duct tape and an insanely sharp knife.
Hey, ahhhh, JT.... you're not depending on your POS Nextel phone, are you? Well, then again, maybe you got a new battery.
J/K man. Nothing but love.
Ahhh Nextel/Sprint...there is a whole 'nuther thread. Those dudes are spending all their Money on Racing. My service has gone noticably down hill since they mergered...and they became the Cup Sponsor.
I went to Sam's club and bought a cheap, fairly comprehensive tool kit. Came in a plastic box and has a good selection of wrenches, sockets, etc.
Rick, I'm proof that a decent tool kit and now spare starter parts are a great idea, especially on a long road trip!
So if your coming to Carlisle this year, please bring your new kit, I may need it.
