Default Twin Turbo Mid Engine 1100 Hp On Pump Gas

This is a all aluminum 427cid small block with Twin fuel injectors per cyl.dry sump oiling,That we made for an Ultima Gtr.It ended up making over 1100 hp at 15 pounds of boost. Heres the link. http://www.nelsonracingengines.com/v...ttrearhigh.wmv

Kick ass, whats the weight to power ratio, and is there any way to make the ratio even better(more crazy)? Have you ever measured the cars acceleration G's?

Can the Porsche transaxle handle the hp ok? and do you think that shift time substantially affects acclereation in a 0-100, or 0-200?

stand up to that kind of abuse? I did not think aluminum would hold together long or am I mis-informed. Freakin' cool motor!

The engine has some type of non aluminum sleeve for strength. With different fuels, such as 100 octane, c16, or e85 the hp could be bumped up considerably.

I think one of the major points of the announcement was that on gas available at the pump(91octane), they were able to make over 1000hp. quite an accomplishment. Demonstrates the greatness of the LS series of engines and lots of talent from the builder. Bang for buck GM rules.
