Vendors take note, I love to barter for parts ! Anyone need a 120" tv? I'm in need of plently parts!
Home automation is the future!! I'm trying to see where I can apply my Cisco cert into that, possibly.

I am a toy designer. I've been doing it for 15 years or so. Currently I'm the lead designer for the Monster Jam line for Hot Wheels. I also help out with a few basic cars, too.

The two biggest brands in home automation are Control4 and Crestron, we carry both and both are IP based. So any background in networking is a plus, but you still need to understand a/v ,lighting control, security, hvac,CCTV , and a whole lot more. You can learn most of what you need on the job, and good shops are always looking for people with experience in a related industry. There are also several high end shops in Az., I can you some direction if your serious.
