You have a budget for your next car Chris?
I'm trying very very hard to get one of my customers to give up his all original 32 ford roadster. He's 85 and has had it in his gargae for 50 years, but keeps thinking he's going to restore it. He's getting sorta close, but my dad really want's the car. I had another one in mind for you though, just don't know how much you want to spend.

Default Found my next car!

Hello all,

Some of you know I recently sold my 68 Camaro because I was looking to reacquire another 68 Camaro that I had built that had sentimental value to me. Well, that did not work out but I was able to find a car that I think I will be very happy with. I just bought Jeff Skelton's 64 Chevelle. This car was posted on lateral-g in nearly finished form about a year ago. Since then, it was finished and has had some additional work done. It is much more of a show car than the Camaro but that is OK with me at this time. The car has only been shown twice, both shows in SoCal. At any rate, here are some quick specs on the car:

Also, here are some recent pictures of the car. Like before, you will need to click on any one of these pictures to start a slide show of 5 X 8 pictures then you can click on any one picture to see it full screen.

At present the car makes about 600 HP with it's Tom Nelson built, twin turbo 355 SBC running at 5 PSI. Tom forged all of the internals so I plan to kick up the PSI to about 7 and then be set.

Take care,
Chris

Hey. Hope you are well. No, this car is not for sale. It is not even at my house yet!. It arrives Monday afternoon. I plan to keep this car for a bit.

Matt,

Very cool. Nice choice. Because it is a numbers car do you plan to keep your mods to a minimum?

yes, to a minimum. Thinking of pulling the engine/tranny out and putting it in storage. Id like to put a twin turbo setup in it. but here is my major debate--

1) I want a Tremec 5 speed

2) I want to mini-tub it

Im going for this look/stance--

do you think either of the above mods would kill its value?
