Question Mini tub 1967 camaro

Im just wondering what all is needed to fit a 18x12 with a 345/30 tire under the back of the car? i heard that the frame rails might need to be cut into a little so the tire can all fit?

dse mini tub, with the mini tub you will need to notch most of the width of the frame rail in the back corner of tub

I've never heard of a 345/30 in a 67 Camaro. The 335's are tight enough. 345's will work in a 69 Camaro, though. I believe the only way a 345 will fit your car is if you order the tubs and frame rails from Mike Riggs @ Mike's Custom Cars and then modify the trunk pan for the additional clearance. His tubs are ~4.5" wider than stock versus DSE's which are ~ 2.75" over stock. Check out his web-site. He has tons of photos.

Thanks guys, i talked to a body shop that specializes in this and they said they could either back half the car but i would lose the rear seat or they could just build new frame rails and move them in a bit and customiz a 4 link system to fit. With everything including a dif and mini tubbing with frame connectors it would be around 10,000.00. you guys think this is a alright price?
