I'm sure that the question was if someone thought he needs the money, not whether or not he has the right to sell it. I don't care if he has sold his soul to the Devil himself. I think it sucks that his buddy set up the deal with Overhaulin and now he dumps the car. Tells me what kind of a "Friend" he must be. If he doesn't need the money, cool. I recall all the flap he made about how much he loved that car and how he'd never get rid of it. I guess he either got another car he loves more, another friend he likes more or he needs the money. Thats F-ing amazing to me.

If you have watched the posts elsewhere regarding the American Hot Rod show, not everything you see on TV is real. Just as the deadlines and bickering on AHR are mostly staged to add drama to the show, it is also possible that the Jason Priestly involvement and the "I'll never get rid of it" statement made for a better story. It's called fiction.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I have stated mine. I have thought way too much about this already. I am done.

Its Cool Dude!! Sounds like you have insite into the Human condition nailed down better than most of us here!! You must be involved in the show to have so much "Insider" information on the fake bitchin that goes on to entertain the simpler minded people that believe every thing they see on TV or read on the internet is true. I shudder to think that Jason lays awake at night mad at Ian for selling his Overhauled Camaro. Must make 90210 reunions a real uncomfortable gathering for the both of them. I guess they are happy now that they didn't do "Brokeback Mountain" together.

And thats all I have to say about that.

Well, the 100 miles has to say something. Either he thinks it is too nice to drive. Or he thinks it is just to valuable to drive and depreciate. Or he thinks it is worth so much more now before the star power wears off, he feels he just has to sell it as a good business decision. Or........He hates it.

It did not go from dream car to FOR SALE car in only 100 miles, just because!

Real car guys sell cars that nice or nicer every day. I've sold some pretty nice cars, am I not a car guy now?

I couldn't of sold it or even thought of putting it up for sale. Hard to believe that people end up being that greedy.......I would love, and i mean love to have my twinturbo'd mustang overhauled by chip foose.....that would be a dream come true, but as with all thing's in my life, tiz not ever to be a reality.....

hmmm

I was at the shop that did the upholstery on the car for the show last year and the car was there getting some stuff fixed. There were 4 mismatched wheels on the car. There was mention of something not paid for and the wheels were taken and replaced with the mismatched ones as if to make a point. Maybe he does need the money. Has anyone seen him working ?
