Griot's Garage in Tacoma, WA does their own version of Cars & Coffee on the first Saturday morning of each month called Caffeine and Gasoline and Rushforth Wheels is going to be the featured guest this Saturday. Like most Cars & Coffee events, it's somewhat late-model-exotic-centric and I'm about the only P-T car ever there but that is going to change this week and hopefully some of you Western, WA guys can make it. It starts around 7:45AM and is all done and over by 10:30 so you still have your whole day left to play instead of getting sunburned in a lawn chair while yokels tell you what they think of your car.
Another bonus to this event's venue is that it takes place at Griot's flagship retail store where some of Richard Griot's incredible vintage racing collection is always on display and there is a ton of awesome car care products for sale in the store.
It would be great to see some of you guys down there because the purists really get upset when they see brake rotors the size of their wheels and the exotic drivers trip out when they see wheels on a 45 year old car the same size as their rolling stock.
Anyone showing up on Rushforth Wheels gets a hat or a shirt so get up early and get over there!
Here's the company car in front of the store and a few highlights from the last handful of events there.
Dang ! Wish I would have seen this before I scheduled work in tommorow..I would have at least come up and beat you out of a hat !!! have a good coffee !

The blue on that Lexus is kind of boring. It screams 'I'm really a Toyota!' I like understated but that's probably the last color I would pick.
You should definitely get a different color when you order your own LFA, Carl! LOL!

It really is a must see car guy stop if you are ever in the NW and a great place to have locally. They do al kinds of cool events from how-to seminars, Saturday Mornings, clearance sales, art shows and the list just goes on and you never know which one of the owner's amazing car will be on display.

You're 2 weeks late, Buddy. I should have called you. I'll be in Vegas for next month's event but let's circle the first Saturday in December and plan for it if it isn't snowing.
Wow that LFA really leaves me cold. What are they ? $400k ?
I scrolled right by it, I thought it was a GTR (another car that I respect but don't particularly like very much at least styling wise, I guess I'm just not a big fan of Japanese cars in general).

My sentiments exactly.
