Default Jada "Big Time Muscle" RC cars

I was shopping at Target today, and I had to do the routine cruise through the toy aisle with all the cool stuff, and I noticed the Jada Remote Controlled "Big Time Muscle" '69 Camaro, so I picked it up to look at it, and low and behold, there was a '69 Chevelle on the shelf behind it

Of course, I'm flat broke, but I figure I can spare $22 for one of these

I forgot to pick up batteries, but I may rob one out of one of the smoke-detectors so I can see how fast it goes

It's pretty cool, but we need our insider, Kris, to convince the people at Jada that stripes don't go on the roof of chevy's

Hey Derek,

Trust me, I've pissed and moaned-a-plenty about the striping. Those R/C's are from before my time here. We've since fixed the problem, just not on our older products.

Keep an eye out on our D-Rod and Big Time Muscle lines. I worked on a lot of the new ones that are coming out. Primarily on the interiors and engines. Most of the bodies are a collaboration between my boss and I. I think you'll dig the new stuff, we've stepped it up a lot!

Kris

I have most of the 1/64 B.T.M. ones...very well detailed! I sure would like to see some "B" body Mopars...'69 6-pack Bee or Runner!
Kris, has anyone done a rendering on a '67 GTX? I hope to someday get one done when funds permit...

I pillaged a 9V battery out of one of the smoke detectors in the house for the controller, and my small mag light, and a couple stereo remotes for the double As for the car.

It is suprisingly fast for a $21.95 RC car Too quick for my poor hand-eye coordination in a small area like mom's kitchen, and not fast enough to catch her chihuahua.

I hope my house don't burn down.
