Default 69 max tire size?

Hi guys im noob here and wanted to know what is the max tire size (width) you can run on a 69 camaro without mini-tubbing it? Im picking up my first 69 camaro (dream car) and am trying to put together as much info as possible before starting anything. Thanks in advance

Default rear tire

275 is about as wide as you can go on 9.5 rim...10 possible. It will rub on driveways occasionally. I think the concensus is 275 on a 9.5 rim with disc brakes takes a 5.5 inch back spacing and take .20 off if running drums.

Hope this helps

Thanks, Scott. You're awesome! I knew that if I hung around long enough someone would ask! Good job, Brian. And welcome.

Just an addition,

You also need to bend the innerlip of the fender, it will most probably make contact with the tires in bumps.

I have just the setup Scott mentions on mine (as a lot of others have) and it is just as much as you can get in there.

Jim,
It's northeast of Atlanta, past Stone Mountain / Snellville area (Gwinnett County).
Jan,
I need to do that anyway. My current tires have a few slash marks from the inner fender.
