Narrow a Stock Fuel Tank? Possible?

Those pictures are from Mikes custom cars in S.C . He is doing my car with mini tubs, and is doing the tank like that so I don't need the Ricks tank. I think he also has pictures of it mounted in the car on his site. If you go to his site mikescustomcars.com go to finnished projects , look for 67 pro touring Camaro. go to album 5 pic #1 you will see the tank further on in the same album at pic #30 on you will see the tank mounted in the car.
