Mine has always been a "drive all summer, and tear her to pieces every winter" kinda project. None of these long drawn out builds for me, I need my top down time when the sun comes back to the midwest.
This season, it's been engine time again. The 383 got some AFR 195 heads, with the good springs and titanium retainers, a voodoo 60112 HR cam with morel lifters, comp HiTech pushrods, and pro magnum rockers.
And I'm FINALLY saying goodbye to the carburater! A holly C950 TBI has taken her place, and the ole AFB sold off.
The engine is buttoned up and I just need to pickup a throwout bearing, she'll go back in next weekend.
fuel system is done.
Finished making the EFI harness this weekend, it's in the car, maybe a dozen connections left to make.
