Need help with Holley fuel pump!

I was driving my car just before winter came and the car just died. I noticed that the fuel pump wasnt running. After about 5 min the pump kicked back on. I was messing with the timing of the car today and after running for about 15 min the pump stoped running. I have talked to a few friends and they said they had the same thing happen to them. Should I try another one or a diff kind??
