I'm getting a bit bored waiting for the truck project to get back on track. I don't know how I waited this long, but I am also part of the F-Body family. Albeit, mine is stock. I go back and forth as to what to do with it. My Dad and I restored it 20 years ago and it is in need of attention again. I would love to PT it, but here is the problem. It is 22,000 mile original that we spruced up. It however is not numbers matching as the previous owner sold the original Big-Block. It is an SS-396 4-Speed. The previous owner was a GM employee and wanted to build a Z/28 so he took it off the road in 1972. It didn't go back on the road until 1988 and I have only put 3K miles on it since. The only thing I don't have is the engine. I even still have the carb and alternator. The car as you see it has no replacement sheet metal on it or any rust. The interior other than the carpet is original with no wear or tears. I don't have pictures of the interior on this computer. So, anyway I am tired of stock. But, do I dare cut this car? It definitely needs painted as we did it in Lacquer the first time 20 years ago and it is showing it's age. Anyway I am happy to hear all comments. I just wanted to officially join the Camaro Club. Enjoy.
