Default Question on using GN pwr steering gear box

My Regal has a a brand new (1yr old) front suspension, Idler arm, center link, inners & outers, new poly control arm Bushings, upper and lower ball joints, poly end links sway bar bushings, a GN front sway bar, with Oldsmobile G-body 307 olds front springs. And steering everything.. a GN power steering gear box with the pitman arm.

I have been experincing having a looser feel to the steering wheel like having to steer more before it seems to respond.

Im using a the power steering pump that was orginally on the 71 Buick 455 that is now powering my ride.

Didnt know if the pump is correct or do I need to use the one from my GN I got the gear box from, because it worked great in my GN.

Didnt know if anyone has done this type swap before and what they did to tighten up the feel, for a better "ROAD FEEL" and not driving a padded Caddy.

thanks
