Corvette suspension in first gen Camaro?

I'm looking around for a first gen camaro and have seen one with what looks like a complete corvette drivetrain and rear suspension... what's involved in this... any internet writeups... approximate costs... etc.

Thanks, and I hope you guys can take greater pity on this BMW boy than my brother-in-laws do (1974 Gold Duster w/ 340 cu in and a 1970 Chevelle SS with a 540 cu in). Its my only claim to fame in the domestic muscle car world.
