Hey TDRV,
I have had 69 camaros since I was 16 , Last 25 years and on any high performance cars, I have had solid motor and trans mounts together and NEVER cracked anything, I know they say not to run the 2 items together, But I never have listened to anyone anyways. Most all my cars have been big block 4&5 speeds and all high perf cars got aluminum body mounts to. Cars shaked a little but That I think was more from compression and cam lifts.
Now if its a mild street crusier type car, then I would use the rubber mounts just for the smoothness, I know my wife likes ridding in the pace cars better then any radical tubbed out prostreet cars we have had.
