Default visual inspection of my front LCAs can I go lower?

So I'm getting close to finishing my 79TA up at least for now. The car is going to sit rather high compared to what I would want. However, looking at my front lower control arm I don't think I can go lower. The ball joint is in line with the pivot point for the LCA. If I go lower, the ball joint will be higher and my bumpstops will be that much closer. So, am I looking at this correctly and I can't really go lower correctly? Also, in the future, I would like to keep the subframe but change the suspension components. Do aftermarket LCAs allow the car to sit lower correctly by having the arm bent differently than stock or what?

Thanks
