Default Aeromotive Fuel Pump Speed Controller

Hey guys - I'm an EFI noob and could use a little guidance. We're getting a little closer to having our project ready to go to a chassis dyno for final tuning of the FAST-XFI system, but we seem to be having a problem with the Aeromotive FPSC. We're running a Rick's Stainless Stealth tank with a 18668 A1000 Stealth pump. Pump ran at full speed with no issues before I found out we needed the 16306 Fuel Pump Speed Controller to keep our FAST-injected 565 and the A1000 pump happy (and cool?). We installed the FPSC pictured below under the dash and wired it per the instructions. Yes - I realize now that it is supposed to be wired close to the pump, so we may need to relocate it to the trunk. Only thing we didn't do at this point was wire in an override switch.

The issue we're having is that the pump fires up to full speed with the ignition and the engine fires up just fine, but after a few minutes the FPSC cuts off power to the pump and the engine dies. Sometimes it does this after 2 minutes of running the engine, sometimes after 15 minutes. If I turn off the ignition completely and restart, the engine fires right back up like nothing happened, no matter how long it ran before shutting off. Didn't have this issue without the FPSC; only started with the FPSC installed. Any ideas/pointers?

Thanks for the help!

Rob
