Default "Turn Stop" on a Ford steering rack

Have any of you dealt with adding a 'turn stop' to your steering rack, particularly one of the aftermarket suspension setups with a Ford rack? On our first test drive a couple of weeks ago, we noticed that at close to full lock, the inside of the front wheel is touching the lower control arm. So I want to limit the amount of turn by limiting the steering rack travel.

I think I can add something under the boot at the end of the rack, but I haven't done this before so am looking for advice. I did some searching here, but didn't find anything that pointed me in the right direction.

Suggestions, particularly any pictures, would really help!

Thanx!
