No official pricing has been given and the rumored cost doesn't define the options. I would take the rumored pricing at face value - internet rumors. I seem to remember this exact same thing happening with the billet hinges, so I wouldn't get too worked up and wait until the official announcement happens which will include a price structure for available options.
