Default Ridetech coilovers and Tru Turn with stock arms

Happy Saturday to you all. I've read a lot of a threads on here, but I decided to finally join up so I could ask this question.

I'm restoring a subframe from a 1968 Camaro currently. I have it all disassembled and the subframe is coming back from sandblasting in a few days. I've decided on using Ridetech's Tru Turn with their 1.75 drop spindles and adjustable coil overs. Does anyone know if this will work with the stock upper and lower control arms? I read ridetechs website, and they say it may work but they wouldn't guarantee it. Does anyone else have a similar setup? I'd like to go with ridetechs upper and lower arms, but it's not in the budget right now with engine build going at the same time.

My goal is a 3 inch drop in the front. I want to be able to drive the car not as my daily driver, but as a fun weekend car I can take on road trips.

Any info would be very much appreciated!
