Default LS1 brake swap on Chevelle

This is my first post here on Lateral G and I hope someone can help. I have completed the front C5 brake swap on my 70 Chevelle, and I am now trying to figure out what to do for the rear. I am pretty much set on swapping late model LS1 camaro brakes over (backing plates/calipers/disks etc), but I have one major concern and the answer seems to be elusive. Is there any definate way to get the parking brake to work correctly while maintaining the factory chevelle park brake pedal/cable assembly?
Any direction on this issue would be greatly appreciated. I dont have the swap parts in hand yet (i'm sure it would help me figure it out) but i dont want to buy them and be stuck wioth something i'm not gonna use. Thanks in advance.
